Indians crowned MMJAC Champ

The Woolfolk Middle School Indians finished the 2024-2025 season as the Mid-Mississippi Junior High Athletic Conference Champions.

The Indians defeated rival Yazoo County in the 33-30 in the title game.

Indian Anthony Jackson were named MMJAC Most Valuable Player for the season.

Lady Raiders squeeze past Canton, 36-30

Benton Academy’s Brynn Blackstock and her Lady Raider teammates had an off night against Canton Academy but were still able to pull out a six point, 36-30 win.

Canton was able to hold Blackstock to single digits (six points), but her teammates were there to pick up the slack.

Yazoo City takes pair from HCHS

The Yazoo City Indians and Lady Indians both improved to 4-3 overall after a pair of decisive wins over Humphreys County last Friday.

The Indians won by a score of 76-64, while the Lady Indians took a 59-21 victory.

Leading the way for the Indians ws Caleb Crozier with a game-high 26 points.

Panthers bring home district soccer win
