Indians reach the end of the line at Pontotoc

After fighting their way to an impressive 7-3 record in the regular season, Yazoo City’s Indians saw their roll come to an end on Friday night when they were soundly defeated 41-6 by Pontotoc.

The loss gave the Indians a 7-4 final record.

According to Yazoo City head coach Rodney Adams, it was worst-case scenario.

Indians win in double overtime, heading to Pontotoc for playoffs

Yazoo City High School finished off its regular season with a bang.

The Indians won a 54-52 double overtime shootout with Rosa Fort to give them a 7-3 overall record (2-2 in conference) heading into the playoffs.

The game started out hot and only got hotter from there.

By the third quarter, Yazoo City trailed 21-20.
