City takes two from Cowboys, Panthers

In the first installment of the annual rivalry between Yazoo City and Yazoo County, the Indians made short work of the Panthers cruising to a 62-18 victory.
Tamarion Hoover paced the Indians with a game-high 22 points followed in double figures by Will Grayson with 14.

“Gentle” Ben Williams’ jersey retired at Ole Miss

If it wasn't already, the legacy that Ben Williams left behind will forever be enshrined in the hearts of University of Mississippi alumni all over the world as the Yazoo City legend's number 74 jersey was retired by the University during a halftime ceremony at the Annual Egg Bowl matchup with rival Mississippi State on November 24, 2022.

Ole Miss honors Yazoo legend
