Benton Academy’s girls track team had several athletes advance to the State Track Tournament being held this week at Canton Academy and Jackson Prep. Field events will be Friday at Canton, and the running events will be Saturday at Prep.

12U Mudcats finish runner-up

The 12U Yazoo Mudcats were runner-up in the 82 Challenge April Classic in Grenada on April 22-23. The Mudcats went undefeated until the championship game, falling 9-4.
