Benton Academy’s girls track team had several athletes advance to the State Track Tournament being held this week at Canton Academy and Jackson Prep. Field events will be Friday at Canton, and the running events will be Saturday at Prep. Advancing for BA are: Kaye Louise Purvis (Shot Put, Discus); Lindsey Hogue (1600m, 3200m, 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay); Isabella Magyar (800m, pole vault, 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay); Ingrid Magyar (800 m, 3200m, 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay); Addy Cader (4x400 relay); and Rylan Gordon (4x800 relay).
