Washington powers Raiders past Mavericks

Benton Academy point guard Colin Washington scored 20 first half points en-route to a game-high 29 points and a 59-45 Benton victory over Manchester Academy Monday night. The win was the third of the year for the Raiders and couldn't have come at a more opportune time with the Raiders set to begin their district schedule.

MA duo dominates in win

Manchester Academy’s dynamic duo of Pressley Trammell and Anna Riley Kelly both scored in double digits Monday night while leading the Lady Mavs to a 57-41 victory over rival Benton Academy.

Trammell scored a game-high 21 points and Kelly totalled 17 in the Lady Mavs' 16-point win.

Benton takes two at Carroll

The Benton Academy Raiders finally notched a victory in the win column after a hard-fought 57-49 win over Carroll Academy.

Leading the way in scoring for the Raiders were Colin Washington and Clayton Saxton with 21 and 17 points respectively.

Panthers beat Tigers 51-49
