Joe Biden believes that “white supremacy” is more threatening to the United States than ISIS or Al Qaeda.
Remember when Barack Obama said that “climate change” was much more threatening than terrorism? Both, of course, are far-left Democrats who apparently love China.
Top economists have begun to worry. Biden wants to do an “infrastructure” bill that could range as high as six trillion dollars. We simply do not have that kind of money laying around. The only way for Biden to get his hands on this kind of money is through a massive tax increase. This would mean that approximately 80 percent of your income would go to the government. If there are any sane Democrats left in Congress, let’s hope that they go to Joe and explain the facts of life to him. Already inflation has reared its ugly head, and to dump trillions of dollars into the economy now would ruin our economy. A nation cannot borrow its way to prosperity. It’s impossible. History has shown that it has been tried before, but the results usually found a once prosperous nation out of business.
A few years ago, two ultra-liberal economists theorized how to bring this government down. At the time, their idea was to expand the welfare system and pump so much money into it that the taxes needed to support the system bankrupted the producers.
But the same scheme is underway with Joe’s “infrastructure” bill. Everything is free. College is free. Child care is free. Housing is free. Welfare is greatly expanded, and other social programs are expanded. What does the word “infrastructure” mean anyway? I always thought of “infrastructure” as being bridges, highways, harbors, and the electric grid. But to Biden, “infrastructure” means any liberal social program that the mind can conceive, then massive tax increases to support them.
Last week, the family went to Florida to watch Delta State compete in a baseball tournament. I had the opportunity to talk with a contractor who was working on a nearby building. He told me that he needed 100 workers immediately but could only hire seven.
Business after business had help wanted signs in their windows. Almost every restaurant needed workers. We ate breakfast in a restaurant who wanted to hire me. Now I don’t know what I would have to do, but if I needed a job, I would learn. Easy money is tamping down production, and America depends on workers who are productive. Sitting at home drawing a government check will not make our country great.
Then there is “Old Joe’s” stance on guns. He wants to take all of them away from the American people. He hates the AR-15 with a p passion. Lots of people own this gun. It is not an assault weapon as Biden claims. It is a semi-automatic rifle that is fun to shoot, and it is wonderful for home protection. Statistically, the semi-automatic rifle is seldom used in the commission of a crime.
Biden wants to de-fund the police and take the law-abiding citizens’ guns away. Am I missing something here? What part of that makes sense? The only conclusion I can reach is that Biden wants to crash the economy and place the citizens of this country at the mercy of the criminals. But this is the type of government you get when a half-wit is elected to the highest political office in the land. Hopefully, there will be some Democrats in Congress who will stand up and tell “Ole Joe”, NO! We cannot continue down this road if we plan to survive as a nation.
At the end of this road is a bottomless pit, and if we fall into it, America as we know it will cease to exist.
