A family dispute led to a knife fight at a Benton home last weekend.
Miyoung Harris, 41, was charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly attempted to stab a man during an altercation.
“The dispute first began over a child, a family issue,” said Terry Gann, chief investigator with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department. “At that point, Harris got involved and tried to stab a man.”
Gann said the man had injuries to his hand, showing defense wounds.
No other injuries were reported, and Harris bonded out of jail earlier this week.
