Four suspects were found with a stolen firearm and are currently being investigated as suspects in a local apartment complex shooting.
Christopher Harris, Alonzo Alexander, Harold Wright and Travis Rose were all charged with possession of a stolen firearm. All suspects, except Harris, were 19 years old. Harris is 20 years old.
Terry Gann, chief investigator with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department, said the suspects are being investigated for their potential involvement in a shooting at Shady Lane Apartment Complex.
The four suspects were arrested this week after local authorities received an anonymous tip concerning their whereabouts.
“All four suspects were inside a vehicle together,” Gann said. “We found several firearms inside the vehicle, but one was reported stolen from Brandon in Rankin County.”
Gann said a juvenile inside the vehicle was also taken into custody.
“More charges could be coming pending the investigation into these shootings at the apartments,” Gann added.
