The meeting of the Lintonia Garden Club was held Jan. 20 at Parkview Church of God with Marietta Wilkinson presenting the program.
Lintonia Garden Club is affiliated with National Garden Clubs, Inc., Deep South Region, The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc., and River Road District.
The meeting was opened with the pledges being said. Lyndall Moore read the minutes from the December Meeting. Marie Manor gave the Treasurer’s report. Thank you notes were shared. Future garden club meetings were presented and discussed.
From the program, each member was asked to bring some form of an arrangement, using either real flowers or others. Members were also asked to tell why the arrangement was meaningful or important to them personally. There were a number of arrangements.
The hostesses were Lyndall Moore and Marietta Wilkinson. The door prize was won by Elouise Upchurch.
Last month’s meeting was held on February 17 at the home of Elouise Upchurch. The program was presented by Kay Mills, District Director, Yazoo City Soil and Water Conservation District.
