The Yazoo County Lady Panthers had a busy week last week picking up three wins, culminating with a 52-16 victory Saturday over Warren Central in Yazoo City High’s 3rd Annual Queens for King Classic.
Seniors Kamillia Jones and Jakayla Eashington led the way for the Lady Panthers with 18 and 10 points respectively.
Jones was hot from behind the three-point arc, nailing three from long range.
Other scorers were London Love with seven, Jamariah Barton and Ladashia Taylor with six apiece Jayla Snow with three and Jaliya Scott with two.
The Lady Panthers also picked up district wins last week over Amanda Elzy, 61-13, and Thomas Edwards, 50-16. YCHS (15-5) travels to Humphreys County Tuesday.
