Benton Academy posted a pair of wins in girls’ basketball last week with a 42-34 win over Canton and a 52-41 victory over Central Holmes.
A host of Lady Raiders scored against Canton led by Sarah Bailey Jackson with 12 points.
Other scorers were Brynn Blackstock and Addy Cader with six apiece, Maci Lowery, Lindsey Hogue and Sydnie Davis with three apiece, Ava Grae Meeks, Isabella Magyar, and Leta Greco with two apiece, and Annalise Turner with one.
Blackstock and Jackson led the charge against Central Holmes scoring 18 and 11 respectively.
Magyar and Lowery added six apiece, Greco had four, Hogue, Emma Middleton and Avery Alexander each had two and Ana Paige Beith rounded out the scoring with one.
