Panthers recognized as one of the top ten teams in Class 3A

Gabe Shaffer drove in five runs on three hits to help lead the Panthers to a 23-4 win under the bright lights at Trustmark Stadium in Pearl.
The Panthers racked up 13 runs in the first inning with Parker Barron driving in an RBI single to start things off. Gabe Shaffer added a two-run single and Chris Rials grounded out to score a run.

Lady Panthers are on a roll this softball season

Yazoo County softball has been on a roll this season with the Lady Panthers earning nine straight wins before losing a 5-3 contest at Morton Friday.
The Lady Panthers are 12-3 overall and will make the short trip to Yazoo City Thursday to take on the Lady Indians. Yazoo County won the first meeting with Yazoo City 15-0.
