Benton Academy has won two out of three of their last games with wins over the Jackson Victors and Humphreys Academy before falling 4-3 in a battle with Central Holmes.

Bryce Ables earned the win over the Victors. Ables struck out seven batters over five and two thirds innings.
Tanner Vandevere had a strong relief performance, giving up no runs to help seal the win.
Tyler Odom went 3-for-4 to lead the Raiders at the plate, and Ethan Shanks had a game-high three RBIs.
Waylen Dewitt went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Dalton Robles had a hit and an RBI. Brett Pierce, Riley Powell and Ables also had hits for the Raiders.
Benton Academy 11, Humphreys Academy 4
Dalton Robles had an outstanding pitching performance with 10 strikeouts in BA’s 11-4 win over Humphreys.
Waylen Dewitt set the tone at the plate with three hits in four at bats. Dewitt hit a home run over the left field wall in the second inning, had a single in the fifth inning and a double in the seventh inning. The senior had an RBI and scored four runs in the win.
Robles drove in the first run of the day with a sacrifice fly, and Tanner Vandevere followed up with a two-run single.
Dewitt and Vandevere each had three hits to lead BA at the plate.
Tyler Odum had two hits and two RBIs. Cullen McCain had a hit and two RBIs. Ethan Shanks had a hit and an RBI.
Central Holmes 4, Benton Academy 3
Waylen Dewitt, Tyler Odum, Cullen McCain, Dalton Robles, Tanner Vandevere and Brett Peirce all had hits for BA, but Central Holmes slipped away with the victory.
