Benton Academy came out on top in a 13-10 showdown with Humphreys Academy to get back on the winning track last week.
Dalton Robles blasted a home run over the center field wall in the second inning to put the first points on the board for the Raiders.
Cullen McCain added an RBI single, and Ethan Shanks drove in a run with a double.
HA took the lead in the bottom of the third, but the Raiders came roaring back in the fifth inning with eight runs on three hits for an 11-4 lead.
Shanks provided the highlight of that inning with a double that drove in three runs.
The Rebels still had plenty of fight left in them, however, and HA scored six runs on four hits in the bottom of the seventh.
Dixon Creel earned the win for BA, striking out seven batters while allowing six hits and six runs (zero earned) and walking three in four innings. Tanner Vandever started the game on the mound for BA, and Riley Powell closed the game.
Shanks had a fantastic day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with five RBI to lead the Raiders to victory.
Vandevere and Robles also had two hits each.
James Aaron Stanford had a hit and two RBI. McCain had a hit and an RBI.
Tyler Odum had a hit and scored two runs.
The Raiders will host Canton Academy on Thursday.
