The Yazoo Elite 14U team took first place honors over the weekend at the TMT Pelicans Tournament held in Tallulah, Louisiana. The Yazoo Elite 16U girls and boys also participated in the tournament with the girls going 0-1 and boys 0-2. Pictured above, from left are, Coach Joffre Washington, Jaylon Banks, Christian Townsend, Cameron Williams, Jamarion Bryant, Jacorion Taylor, Amari Southern, Jordan Scott, Rickal Sessions, and Coach Andre Douglass. Taylor led the way in the championship game with 10 points, followed by Williams with nine, Sessions with seven, Bryant and Banks with four apiece, and Southern with two. Sessions led the way with 14 in game one.
