The Yazoo County Livestock Show and 4-H Livestock Show at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the 4-H show barn, located on Gordon Avenue, across from Manchester Academy in Yazoo City. Admission is free.
Approximately 23 exhibitors, aged eight to eighteen, will show approximately 86 animals in the categories of lambs, goats, beef cattle, and swine. Youngsters under eight will get a chance to show 4-H animals at the Yazoo County Livestock show in the Under Eight Showmanship divisions.
There will be a concession stand featuring pork sandwiches, drinks, and snacks.
The directors of the Yazoo County Livestock Show Association invite you to come and spend a day of fun and family activities that will provide you and your children the opportunity to view the show animals up close and see what showing livestock is all about.
You are also invited to the Yazoo County Livestock Show Association Banquet, which will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 6 p.m., in the Benton Academy Gym. A $25 membership in the Yazoo County Livestock Show Association will provide admission for you and your immediate family to the banquet, which will feature barbeque meal; if you eat at the banquet. If the plates are to go, the
limit is 2 per membership. Entertainment will be provided and the crowning of the 2026 Yazoo County Livestock
Show Queen, Princess, and Sweetheart. Carry out plates will be available beginning at 5 p.m. in a different
serving line. Memberships may be paid at the door. Memberships which have been purchased prior to the banquet will
be verified at the door or purchased prior to the banquet. Checks should be made payable to the "Yazoo County
Livestock Show Association” or “YCLSA”, may be purchased during normal business hours at the Yazoo County office
of Mississippi State Extension, located on the top floor of the County Office Building on Broadway in
Yazoo City no later than 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 15,2026.Please note that the Yazoo Co. Extension office will be
