Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced the sentencing of Adrian Jamaal Hill of Yazoo City, Mississippi for one count of statutory rape. This case was investigated and prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.
"Sexual assault is a violation of the most intimate nature, robbing victims of the deepest sense of privacy and harming them in ways that will haunt them for a lifetime," said Attorney General Lynn Fitch. "My office is dedicated to protecting these victims and making our communities safer by holding these perpetrators accountable. Thank you to the incredible work of our investigators and prosecutors for ensuring that justice was served."
On August 4, 2025, Yazoo Circuit Court Judge Jannie Lewis-Blackmon sentenced Hill to 27 years in the custody of Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with twelve years to serve and five years supervised probation upon release. He will be required to serve his sentence day-for-day without the possibility of parole. Hill was further ordered to pay $1,000 to the Mississippi Children’s Trust Fund and $1,000 to the Victims of Human Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation Fund. He will also have to register as a sex offender upon release.
