Three candidates have qualified for two posts on the Yazoo County District School Board.
Within District 1, which will be vacated by current member Chastity Magyar, candidate Etta Saxton has qualified with no other opposition.
Within District 2, incumbent Millicent Ledbetter has qualified, along with Carolyn Jean Gainwell-Ellis.
Yazoo County Circuit Clerk Robert Coleman said the school board election will appear on the ballot for the November 8 election.
Coleman added that all other county posts will be determined in next year’s general election.
