A suspect remains on the run in connection with stealing items from the local Walmart Supercenter on Grand Avenue. And investigators believe the suspect has targeted other Walmart sites in the central Mississippi area.
Police Chief Terry Gann said the suspect fled the scene in a white Dodge, four-door truck with a Warren County tag of WA2 4592.
“We don’t suspect that the owner of the vehicle is aware of this incident,” Gann said. “We believe the suspect used this as a getaway vehicle. The truck has scratch damages on the rear passenger side bumper.”
Gann said the suspect is wanted for stealing a television and computer from the local business.
“He went out the fire escape door with a 75-inch television and a computer,” Gann said. “And we believe the local Walmart is not the only place this suspect has hit. We believe there are a couple more in central Mississippi.”
