Steven Clayton Wiggins, 63, of Benton and former resident of Monroeville, Ala., passed away peacefully in Jackson on Oct. 23, 2025 at 3:35 a.m.
He attended Excel High School in Excel, Ala. He had many talents and loved working with his hands. He drove trucks, worked in numerous mills, and loved doing mechanic work.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton H. Wiggins and Kathryn L. Wiggins; and sisters, Davene Wiggins and Sue Wiggins Brantley.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary Megan Wiggins and grandchild, Nevannah Leigh Wiggins, of Benton; and sister, Merilyn Long of Yazoo City.
Funeral services will be held at Fletchers Chapel Church on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow under the direction of Stricklin King Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m.
