Robert Charles Lann, II “Bob”, 41, of Bentonia, Mississippi passed away on December 12, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1984, in Jackson, Mississippi to Robert and Lisa Lann.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Flora beginning at 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM with the funeral services following at 11. Burial will be at Melrose Baptist Church in Bentonia, MS. All arrangements are being handled by Stricklin King Funeral Home.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He worked as a surgical technician, first assistant for almost 20 years at several hospitals in the Jackson area. He and his family had recently become full-time missionaries with Commissioned International at Hospital Bautista in Guaimaca, Honduras. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Flora. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, helping others in any way possible, and spending time with his wife and daughters, who were the lights of his life.
He is survived by his wife of seven years, Emily Lann; his children, Lucy (3 years) and Carolyn (3 weeks); his father, Robert Lann; his brother, Ben Lann; aunt, Lori (Michael) Peyton; cousins, Tracy (Tim) Paul and Terri (Dee) Dooley; great cousins, Tee, Ty, and Tinsley Paul and Peyton and Presley Dooley; and a multitude of beloved family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Vandevere Lann; and his grandparents, James Edwin Vandevere, Carolyn Harrell Vandevere, Benjamin Curtis Lann, Fannie May Colvin Lann, and Bobbie Sue Lann.
Bob will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, relationship with Jesus, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
