Ricky Lynn Helms, 73, of Benton, passed away at his home on June 9, 2025.
He was born March 13, 1952, to T.C. and Dolly Ruth Helms.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Helms; three children, Tommy Helms (Deidra), Kenny Helms, and Patience Stanley (Brandon) all of Benton; two sisters, June Warren (Roger) of Lebanon, TN, and Judy Murray of Brandon; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thomas Helms and Timmy Helms; and sister, Joyce Womack.
He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and his family loved him in return. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at First Baptist of Yazoo City with visitation at 10:00, and services to follow at 11:00. At the family’s request, please make a charitable contribution to The American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
