Peggy Fraiser, 81, passed away on July 7, 2025, at home in Lake Charles, LA, surrounded by family. Born in Neshoba County, MS, she spent most of her life in Yazoo City, where she worked in banking.
She is survived by sons, Doug Fraiser (Mee Mee) and Chris Fraiser; granddaughters, Hannah and Shelby Fraiser; and siblings, Marvaline Gurney, Patty Wiggins, June Crow, and Terry Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gerald “Jerry” Fraiser; her parents; and two brothers.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. with services following at 11 a.m. on July 18, 2025, at First Methodist Church in Yazoo City.
The family extends special thanks to Brighten Bridge Hospice, especially Veronica Sheridan, Jessica Percle, Kathy Dammon, and Brandy Summerlin.
