Merrell Warrington, 74, of Bentonia, passed away on April 20, 2024 at St. Dominic Medical Center in Jackson.
Warrington was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and retired from the Yazoo County Beat 1 Road Crew, Davis Auto Sales and Dixie Farms.
Funeral services were held on April 23 at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Warrington officiating. Burial followed at the Hancock Family Cemetery in Yazoo County under the direction of Stricklin King Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley H. Warrington; son, Stephen Warringtonl and four brothers.
Survivors include his daughter, Kendra (Eddie) Hoover of Bentonia; brother, Glenn (Glenda) Warrington of Bentonia; and three sisters, Bonnie (Dean) Durden of Yazoo City, Nancy Chambers of Milton, Fla. and Mary Jane (Randy) Halstead of Brandon.
