Affectionately and loving known by all as Ms. Margaret or Aunt Margaret, she maintained an ever present and beautiful smile that radiated unto all. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Nobles; and grandson, Kevin Matthew Ables. Her parents were Cecil and Chesley Bond of Oil City. Making the journey before her were two brothers, Lewis and Hilirie Bond, and five sisters, Catherine Banks, Shelby Littlejohn, Martha Hancock, Pauline Burkhart, and Rebecca Lawrence. She attended and treasured her friends at Bethany United Methodist Church. She loved her family and friends and would talk for hours on how proud she was of her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing for others like making masks for all holidays for the children who attend the Boy and Girls Club of Yazoo City. She loved to decorate for the holidays and host family gatherings with her famously delicious biscuits. She cheered for the Ole Miss Rebels and MS State Bulldogs, (where both of her grandchildren attended), as well as the New Orleans Saints. She discovered late in life how much she loved and enjoyed traveling. She celebrated her 71st birthday with her granddaughter in Disney World for 10 days. Margaret Ann Nobles will be missed by many.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Ables and Gary Dean Stovall of Yazoo City, MS, Peggy Nobles-Alkhedri and Bill Golden of Indianapolis, IN, and Linda Nobles of Brandon; granddaughter, Chasity Nobles of Cincinnati, OH; and sisters, Louise Jackson of Oil City, MS and Marie Pitts of Flora, MS.
