Louis Cain, 81, died July 26, 2016 in Vicksburg
Funeral services were Wednesday at Scotland Baptist Church with Rev. Glen Allen officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mr. Cain was born July 30, 1934 in Yazoo County to Sam O. and Mary Nelle Cochran Cain. He was a retired equipment operator for Yazoo County and a member of Scotland Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam Oliver Cain and Mary Nellie Cochran Cain Foster, brothers; Robert Cain, Sam Cain Jr. and William Foster; sisters, Sarah Van Tuinen and Mary Cain Martin; and great grandson Kohlson Moeller.
Survivors include his wife Jean Cain; son, Danny Cain; daughters, Elizabeth Darlene Cain and Pamela Isonhood, both of Bentonia, and Jennifer Penalver (Adam) of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Elisha Isonhood, Porsha Isonhood, Stasha Isonhood McDuff, Josh Penalver, Alaina Penalver, Jason Penalver and Alyssa Penalver; great grandchildren, Chloye Weeks, Kimber Isonhood, Evan Sanders, Tylnn Sanders, Daphnea McDuff, Riley McDuff and his brothers, Victor Cain of Vicksburg, Ralph Cain and James Cain of Texas.
Serving as pallbearers were Sammy Foster, Randy Terry, Tim Davis, Robert Collins, Tony Jennings, Mike Van Tuinen, Timmy Tedder, Ray Howell and Thomas Hawk.
