Karen Ketchum, 48, of Yazoo City passed away at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson Monday, September 25, 2017.
Visitation will start at noon Tuesday, September 26 followed by services at 2 p.m. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steven Carter will officiate with burial to follow in Fletchers Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Ketchum was born August 6, 1969 in Jackson to Gerald and Betty Sue Ertle Ketchum She was a member of Castle Chapel Methodist- Protestant Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her aunt; Celeste & Wallace Parr of Yazoo City; uncles, Pete and Kathleen Ketchum of Ridgeland and James and Ursula Ertle of Bentonia; cousins, Craig Parr of Yazoo City, Cheryle Burrow of Brandon, Walter Martin of Brandon, Kim Richardson of Ridgeland and Barbara Williams of Benton; a host of other cousins; Karen's legal guardian, Jimmy and Armona Hilderbrand; and her caretaker; Jennifer Ketchum.
Serving as pallbearers are Craig Parr, Josh Richardson, Jimmy Hilderbrand, Van Foster, Willard Dale Ketchum, Mike Ketchum, Dustin White and Chase White.
