Jimmy White, 71, of Yazoo City, passed away on Nov. 24, 2022 at St. Dominic Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Lynch officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the service time. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin King Funeral Home.
Mr. White was a mechanic, Baptist and Vietnam Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by son, Jeremy White.
Survivors include his three daughters, Sherry Hanna of Van Buren, Ark., Heather Grey of Benton and Georgia Cargil of Yazoo City; four sons, Jimmy White, Jason White, Brandon White of Yazoo City and Brian White, all of Yazoo City; brother, Kenneth White of Magee; two sisters, Shirley Nettles and Cathy Mae Dent, both of Yazoo City; mother, Ruby White, of Yazoo City; and children's mother, Sue White of Yazoo City.
