Christine A. Murphy, 92, died Sept. 9, 2016 in Fresno, Calif.
Funeral services were Sept. 24 at Shiloh Cemetery in Yazoo County. Burial followed under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Murphy was born Feb. 15, 1924 in Yazoo County to Noah and Edna Saxton Alderman. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Murphy; and a son, Pat Murphy.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Gardner of Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Annette Daniels of Benton; a grandson, Ron Gardner of Fresno, Calif.; and one great-grandchild.
