Christine Murphy, 92, died on Sept. 9, 2016 in Fresno, Calif. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery in Yazoo County under the direction of Strickin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Murphy was born on Feb. 15, 1924 to Noah and Edna Alderman of Yazoo County. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Murphy; and daughter, Pat Murphy.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Gardner of Clovis, Calif.; her sister, Annette Daniels; and one grandchild.
