Charles B. Winstead, 79, died May 19, 2017.
Funeral services were Sunday at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Baley officiating. Burial followed at Tranquil Cemetery.
Mr. Winstead was born Nov. 26, 1937 in Eden to Charlie and L.V. Creel Winstead. He was a retired electronic technician for AT&T, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Grace E. Winstead of Yazoo City; daughter, Mary W. Holt of Yazoo City; sons, Charles W. “Willie” Winstead of Yazoo City and Robert Winstead (Tabby) of Philadelphia; a brother, Marvin Ray Winstead of Richton; and three sisters, Lavern Parker (Bobby) of Yazoo City, Deloris A. Jenkins of Lexington and Glenda Sue Millwood of Yazoo City; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
