Ada was a member of Central Baptist Church where she taught the Adult Sunday School class for many years. She was a retired Registered Nurse where she ministered to countless patients, family members and co-workers. Her motto of life, which she passed on to so many lives was,
“Trust in the Lord and take it one day at a time.”
She was a believer in Jesus and a model to all in showing unconditional love to all in which she came unto contact.
Her passion was living by example as a follower of Christ, loving her family and always being there.
She never missed a sporting event, dance recital or whatever else in which her children and grandchildren were participating. The family covets your prayers over the coming days as we celebrate her ascension to heaven and mourn the loss of her physical presence here on earth.
The family all agrees that it is now our responsibility to carry on her legacy of how a Christian is supposed to live and love others! We close this with another of her favorite quotes, “We can’t always see the hand of God, but we can always trust the heart of God and know that he is right there with us.”
Stricklin King Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
