Norman Powell, 87, of Bentonia, passed away on March 30, 2026 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held on April 11 at 11 a.m. at Ogden Baptist Church with Rev. Christopher Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin King Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service.
Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Belvie Powell; and brother, Travis Powell.
Survivors include his wife, Genevia Powell of Bentonia; four daughters, Cathy (Bobby) Stokes of Vicksburg, Cindy (Freddie) Wilcher of Mozelle, Kimberly Jo Powell of Bentonia and Caren (Wes) Peters of Madison; son, Allen (Trennie) Powell of Hernando; two stepsons, Bill Quimby and Tom Quimby, both of Bentonia.
Pallbearers will be Randall Powell, Jeremy Stokes, Allen Ryan, Jeffrey Stokes, Garbo Ryan and Justin Stokes.
