A warrant has been issued for the third suspect in a house burglary and truck theft from the Phoenix community.
Local authorities continue to search for Grady Bishop, who has several warrants for his arrest.
Terry Gann, chief investigator with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department, said the third and final suspect in the rural community theft is a Vicksburg resident.
Two other suspects in the crime have been arrested and charged over the last several days.
Damon Henderson, 29, was charged with burglary and failure to comply. He was the first suspect to be arrested after members of the Phoenix community held him at gunpoint following his chase from deputies on the day of the burglary.
Brian Odom, 29, was charged with grand larceny and burglary after the local authorities picked him up after he was arrested in Vicksburg last week.
The incident began with a house burglary, resulting in the theft of several items. Following the burglary, the suspects then stole the victim’s truck, loading it down with the stolen items.
The truck is a green 1997 GMC with the front grill busted and a tag number of YA11972. As of press time, the truck has not been recovered but has been seen at a Jackson gas station.
