Two suspects connected to a drive-by shooting remain behind bars as investigators piece together their potential involvement with yet another Shady Lane incident.
Dandre Taylor and Myquon Carter were both charged with drive-by shooting.
Terry Gann, chief investigator with the Yazoo County Sheriff's Department, said Constable Jeremy McCoy heard shots fired on West First Street.
"He saw the shots coming from a vehicle," Gann said. "He pursued the vehicle into Wise Street, where two occupants jumped out and ran."
Gann said driver of the vehicle was a juvenile who was detained until deputies arrived on the scene.
The investigation led to the arrest of Taylor and Carter. Gann said he continues to look for two other suspects believed to have also been occupants of the vehicle.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
"We believe this is another case connected to the problems we have been having in Shady Lane," Gann said. "We have made a stand against these shootings and have made several arrests. I expect more arrests are coming."
