The Mayor and Board of Aldermen accepted the resignations of Yazoo City School Board members John Wallace and Willye Neal Thomas this week.
No nominations were made Monday, but board members will be looking for candidates to nominate during the next public meeting.
The board appointed Edna Rogers to another term on the Public Service Commission Board.
The board also voted to allow John Meeks to another term on the Yazoo City Housing Authority Board.
M.L. Coleman was appointed to the Planning and Zoning Board.
George Dixon, Shawanda Collins, Joe Henry Smith and Magnolia Thomas were nominated for the Historical Preservation Board.
