The man wanted for questioning in a Yazoo murder case turned himself into authorities this week.
Billy Drain was taken into custody by the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department Wednesday.
“He is only being questioned at this time,” said Terry Gann, chief investigator. “He has not been charged with anything at this time. We believe he has information that would be helpful to this case.”
The investigation into an attempted armed robbery on Patterson Road that led to murder on Feb. 1 continues with no arrests being made as of press time.
Henry Glen Renfrow died from a gunshot wound after an armed suspect, wearing a mask, entered his home with a rifle demanding money earlier this month.
The murder occurred at Renfrow’s home, located at 3430 Patterson Rd.
Gann said Drain also had a bench warrant for unrelated charges.
