FCC officer charged with accepting bribes

A Yazoo City man has been charged with accepting bribes from inmates while working at the Federal Correctional Complex.

Anthony Robinson, 39, arrested by FBI agents Monday based on a one-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury charging him with accepting bribes.

According to the indictment, Robinson accepted bribes from inmates at the Yazoo City Federal Correctional Complex in exchange for bringing contraband (tobacco) into the prison for inmates.

If convicted, Robinson faces up to 15 years in federal prison and up to a $250,000 fine.
