Although several leads were called in over the weekend, deputies continue to search for the suspect they believe is involved in a Yazoo County burglary.
Timothy Turner, 44, remains at large after he allegedly burglarized a residence on Old Benton Rd.
Several items were reported stolen, including a push mower, a white four wheeler, an ice chest full of deer meat, a step ladder and power tools.
“We had several calls come in with this case,” said deputy Tra Ferrell, with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department. “We follow all leads we receive. But at this time, he’s still at large.”
Turner, a white male, was last listed as living at 1033 Freeman Lane. However, investigators believe he is currently in the Jackson area.
Ferrell urges the public to notify the authorities on the whereabouts of Turner.
“Do not try to apprehend this subject yourself,” Ferrell added. “Please call your tips into the proper authorities.”
To report Turner’s whereabouts, call the sheriff’s department at 746-5611 or Crimestoppers at 746-TIPS.
