Rev. Royce Lott is a name that many Yazooans will recognize as he has quickly helped transform the tiny Satartia First Baptist Church, into a community service leader.
Lott will deliver the sermon at the annual Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m.
The service will be hosted by Word of Faith Christian Center located at 407 Jackson Avenue. This service, sponsored annually by the Yazoo City Ministerial Association, involves all churches, pastos and denominations in the Yazoo area.
The Word of Faith Praise Team will provide special music. Other ministers from across the city will participate through scripture reading, prayers and in other ways.
An offering will be received to assist in the benevolence needs throughout the community administered by the Minsterial Association.
The host pastor is Rev. Edward Taylor. He joins Rev. Ken Lynch, vice president of te Ministerial Association and program coordinator, and Rev. George Woodliff, Ministerial Association president, in an invitation to the public to attend this special Thanksgiving service.
