A trial date was set Wednesday for a Yazoo City man accused of murdering his wife last year.
Circuit Judge Jannie Lewis set the trial date for Curtis Brown to be held on April 3, 2017.
Curtis Brown, of 1011 Grand Ave., was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of a weapon by a felon in November of 2015.
Curtis Brown was charged with murder three weeks after his wife Tiffany Brown was killed in her home. He was arrested outside of Baptist Medical Center Yazoo.
Tiffany Gregory Brown, 31, was pronounced dead from a single gunshot wound at the Baptist Medical Center Yazoo Emergency Room on Oct. 17, 2016.
