NATIONAL SUMMARY
Much colder air will allow snow showers to occur east of Lake
Huron and Lake Erie tomorrow. However, the heaviest snow is
expected to fall in the Tug Hill Plateau east of Lake
Ontario. A secondary cold front could also cause snow to
fall in much of Vermont, northern and central New Hampshire
and northern and western Maine. Occasional rain and drizzle
is forecast to dampen South Texas. A few spotty showers will
be found in South Florida. A significant storm will come
ashore in the West, with rain and mountain snow likely from
Washington, Idaho and western and central Montana southward
to Central California. Northern and Central California are
likely to have the heaviest precipitation. The storm will
move southward overnight, with rain reaching Southern
California.
