The Nation's Weather for Thursday, November 3, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Valley rain and mountain snow will push farther east into
the central Rockies tomorrow. Snow will have the potential
to deliver the first accumulating snow of the season as far
south as the mountains of northern Arizona. The Northwest
will have below-normal temperatures, but most of the region
will be dry. The exception could be northwestern Washington
late in the day, as the next system begins to come ashore.
Well above-normal temperatures will continue the very warm
start to November in the Upper Midwest, and a few record
highs could be challenged. A bit or rain or drizzle may
dampen the Outer Banks of North Carolina, but the rest of
the mid-Atlantic can expect a dry day. Much of the day will
be dry in the southern Plains, but severe thunderstorms are
forecast to erupt overnight from Kansas to northwestern
Texas.
