NATIONAL SUMMARY
Severe thunderstorms will be possible in the Northeast
tomorrow from central New York to southern Maine, with
flooding downpours and damaging winds the main threats.
Heavy rainfall will again occur in the Southeast as an area
of low pressure serves to enhance thunderstorms locally. The
northern Plains will have an afternoon thunderstorm in spots
but breezy conditions otherwise as pleasant conditions
extend through the Midwest. Farther south, parts of Texas
could also have a thunderstorm during the day, especially in
the south. The interior Northwest will be very warm once
again, but cooler weather and even a few showers will arrive
closer to the coast as afternoon thunderstorms also develop
in the Southwest.
