The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, February 6, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A massive storm will continue to push across the West,
bringing steady to heavy rain and mountain snow to
California tomorrow. Rain and drizzle will also expand
northward into the coastal Northwest while mountain snow
expands into Nevada and Arizona. Parts of southern Idaho
will also have some rain and snow as a result of this storm.
At the same time, the Northeast, Midwest and the Plains will
have continued dry conditions as the result of high pressure
remaining fixed over the region. Areas along the coast will
remain breezy, especially in the morning. At the same time,
mild and warmer conditions will push from central parts of
the nation southward into the Southeast as dry and breezy
conditions pick up in the wake of yesterday's storm.
