The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, November 14, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will continue to travel just offshore of
Louisiana tomorrow, bringing rain from far southeastern
Texas along much of Louisiana, southern Mississippi,
southern Alabama and Florida. Some rain will be heavy at
times, especially in coastal regions of southern
Mississippi, southern Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle
where it could cause ponding on roadways and bring localized
flash flooding. Meanwhile, another storm will approach the
West Coast and bring periods of rain along much of the
northwestern California coast. High pressure in the
Southwest and Great Plains will promote seasonable air and
some sunshine in most areas. At the same time, the Northeast
will have a pocket of rain and snow showers across upstate
New York, Vermont and New Hampshire.
