NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will travel just offshore of Texas and
Louisiana tomorrow, bringing rain from southern and central
Texas through southern Louisiana. Showers will exist along
the northern and eastern fringes of this storm, especially
in southern Mississippi and Texas. Some rain will be heavy
at times, especially in coastal regions of southeastern
Texas and southwestern Louisiana where it could cause
ponding on roadways and bring localized flash flooding.
Showers will impact western Washington, western Oregon and
far northwestern California. High pressure in the
Southwest and Great Plains will promote seasonable air and
some sunshine in most areas. Meanwhile, the Northeast will
see a pocket of rain and snow showers across Upstate New
York, Vermont and New Hampshire.
