The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, June 20, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
The chance of severe weather continues tomorrow, this time
reaching parts of the northern Plains, as a cold front
slides across the region. Hail, damaging wind gusts and even
some tornadoes may occur in the afternoon and evening from
southern Manitoba, Canada, through much of the Dakotas, also
extending into Nebraska. Elsewhere, parts of the Southeast
that have recently had days of severe weather may experience
flooding as a storm stalls overhead, delivering repeated
rounds of thunderstorms. Thundershowers will be possible for
some in the Northeast as well. Leftover cold air behind a
front will lead to another day of rain and high-elevation
snow from the Pacific Northwest into the Intermountain West.
Much of the Southwest and the Great Lakes should be dry.
