The Nation's Weather for Sunday, January 30, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
The snowstorm in the Northeast will be out of the picture by
tomorrow, leaving a relatively dry day across the nation.
Winds coming off the Great Lakes will cause lake-effect snow
in Michigan and Pennsylvania. In Washington state, a cold
front moving through the region in addition to ample
moisture will produce heavy rain. Snow will fall in the
higher elevations there. The only other spot in the Lower 48
that will receive any precipitation will be in Arizona and
New Mexico, where a few showers are expected. Snow can fall
in the higher elevations there as well. Minnesota to New
Jersey and northward will be chilly. In the Southeast it
will be mild and a bit breezy.
